The residence of former president Chiang Kai-Shek. It was a sacred and mysterious place to the locals for a very long time. It was open to the public in 1996 and became a popular visit ever since. It features two gardens, inner and outer, and the main house. The outer garden focus on planting orchid in the green house and rose in the field. The rose blossoms from March to May, it is a great time to visit if you favor rose like the former first lady. The place is elegant and slow paced with a little historical mystery; the gardens are still very carefully cared and now open free for everyone to visit.
